The Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIC) at Al-Ghazali University's School of Technology (GU-TECH), led by a team of qualified AI scientists and professionals, is a hub for cutting-edge research, industry collaboration, and startup development. The IIC is dedicated to transforming the future through AI innovation, training, and industry-focused solutions. Our core focus areas include: AI, Cybersecurity, Fin-Tech, and Healthcare.
Introduction:
IIC provides a collaborative platform where startups, students, and industry professionals converge to tackle real-world challenges. Through Cohort programs, such as the Leap Innovation Challenge, selected startups receive mentorship, incubation, and industry exposure. The IIC has hosted high-impact sessions with CEOs, cybersecurity experts, and global thought leaders.
With MoUs signed with top software houses and organizations like Indus Hospital Network, The Agha Khan University (AKU), Threat Cure, KPMG, Geeks of Kolachi, and others, the IIC has built a robust partner network that offers mutual benefits—ranging from AI consultancy services to training opportunities and student placements.
Our active projects span healthcare, cybersecurity, computer vision, and neurosurgery, supported by expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, Knowledge Graphs, IoT, and more. The IIC continues to nurture tech startups, equipping them with essential training, mentorship, and access to industry resources, preparing them to become future Tech leaders in AI and innovation.

1. AI in Health Care – Indus Hospital Network
This strategic partnership focuses on AI-based interventions to enhance patient care and enable early diagnosis of critical illnesses. The collaboration will drive joint projects in clinical and transformative research and practices.
Key areas of collaboration include:
1. Smart patient management systems for planning and scheduling
2. AI-powered predictive models in diabetology, radiology, and pathology

2. AI in Cybersecurity – Threat Cure
ThreatCure has joined forces with GU Tech, Al Ghazali University, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in research, education, applications, and consultancy to strengthen cyber security army in universities at early stages. With the growing importance of cybersecurity, Gartner predicts that global spending on information security will reach $2012 Billion by 2025.The partnership between ThreatCure and GUTECH focuses on:
1. ThreatCure Providing advanced AI and GenAI-based solutions to both local and international markets
